Outdoor rides for all distances and paces are free to all club members!  Expect most rides to be anywhere from 20-75 miles!  These rides are prepared and led by our own member ride leaders.  Our most popular club training days are Sunday morning and Thursday evening (usually 20-30 miles).  Please check the online calendar for upcoming rides as well as our member’s only Facebook page. Join a ride that is a distance and pace you are comfortable with and be prepared to ride any of the route on your own.  As always, safety is of utmost importance!  Please follow all rules of the road, ride single file, use lights, and no drafting!  Also, bring all hydration and nutrition needed to support your ride as well as a cell phone, map, and emergency bike gear.

P2P IS a cycle training class done in-studio on computrainers using a special coaches’ only software that measures and tracks every minute of your workout.  Just bring your bike and get ready to work and sweat!  In this semi-private class, you will learn everything you need to know about power on an individual level.  Coach Dorrer will test and monitor your cycle zones and design power workouts with specific targets for you!  Attend a weekly 1-hour session to build your strength and output on the bike.  Coach will track your stats and make you perform your personal best!  Nothing compares to this type of training on your bike.

Dynamic Analysis Run Training (D.A.R.T. Run Training™) is an innovative run training program unlike any other that incorporates dynamic drills and real time feedback on your form by analyzing metrics on your Garmin or similar device.

In each D.A.R.T. 2 Perform℠ class, you will analyze your cadence, vertical oscillation, vertical ratio, ground contact time, ground contact balance, and stride length.  Your coach will teach you what each of these metrics means, your optimal range, and how to use your metrics to improve your run form.  You will also use other features found on your monitor, such as the metronome, and track your speed and pace.  Your coach will also assess your overall run form and provide video feedback.

What equipment do I need to participate?
Most Garmin® run watch monitors (Forerunners, Fenix, 935xt and 920xt) have all the metrics and features that you need to make the most of your D.A.R.T. Run Training™.  A heart rate monitor that has either the HRM-Run strap or HRM- Tri strap accessory is mandatory to obtain the metrics from your device.  These straps have an accelerometer in the module that measures torso movement and calculates the run metrics.  Make sure that your device is paired to your heart rate strap accessory before class.  Any other brand of watch or monitor that provides the 6 metrics mentioned above in real time is also suitable.  In addition to your heart rate monitor and strap, you want to bring a clip board or folder and a pen or pencil to track your progress.

Class Schedule:

  • 3 classes on Monday evenings June 4, 11, 18
  • 7:00 pm (arrive by 6:50 pm)
  • Tilden Middle School Track

  • Cost:  $50
